Description: From the fine early set of ten prints: Famous Places in Kyoto, published by Eisendo c1835.

It depicts the Oharame (a historical female peddler of firewood) women who go to sell bushwood and flowers to Kyoto along the Tsuruga highway in the village of Yase.

This particular print is a post-war reproduction by Yuyudo.
